Infants (0- 1yr)
All of our work is geared toward regulating and balancing the nervous system in addition to providing parents’ resource on how to relate to themselves and their children.
Craniosacral can be done right from birth.
It's tough making the transition from the womb to world! Newborn babies can face dozens of challenges like tongue tie, difficulties with breastfeeding, colic, gas, constipation, gastric reflux, fussy baby, flathead, teething, ear infections, motor coordination, developmental delays and much more.
Many of these could actually be repercussions of birth trauma and can often be helped gently and naturally with a hands on technique called craniosacral therapy (CST). (Click here to learn more about CST)
For babies, undue stress or strain from fetal positioning, the birth, or other events can cause restrictions in the flow. When these restrictions are released, there is ease in the nervous system and multiple other aspects of physical functioning. The entire holistic system of the human body functions in harmony when the cerebral spinal fluid is moving with ease.
Not only can CST help a baby find more ease, but it also helps the new parents as they find their way in their new roles as mother and father. Bonding and attachment increases when the new baby can find more comfort in its new life.
During a session, babies are fully clothed and are treated while in the parent’s arms, lying down comfortably or even while playing.
